Get your favorite coffee & join me in learning about the production of New Girl, the cast members. Also, if you've never seen this show, be aware that there will be spoilers.

This has to be my go-to tv show! According to Netflix, this show is about an awkward teacher who moves into a loft with three men who all think they know love, but eventually find out, they have so much to learn.
Ths show was aired on 20th Century Fox Television from 2011-2018, where they produced 7 seasons & 146 episodes. It remains to be a popular television sitcom on streaming services such as Netflix. New girl just happens to be Fox’s longest-running live-action comedy on the air.
"I am not a successful adult. I don't eat vegetables and/or take care of myself." - Nick Miller (Jake Johnson)
This show was created by Elizabeth Meriwether, who teamed up with Fox. The main character is Jessica (Jess) who is a school teacher & is socially awkward. Then we have Nick Miller who is a bartender & a dropout law student. Schmidt is a confident male who thinks of himself very highly when it comes to women. Winston is a former basketball player who had just moved back when Jess moved in.
Lastly, we have Cece who is Jess's best friend and a model! This is actually one of the biggest reasons for the three roommates to le Jess move in. They are all very silly but also down to earth. Even though they go through ups and downs, they always prevail. Their friendship grows stronger as the show continues.
The character's real names are Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Lamorne Morris, and Hannah Simone. I can definitely say that this show is geared towards 17+ because the humor can also be a little inappropriate for some viewers.
For me, what makes this show stand out in the sitcom genre of television, is that the characters are very relatable & so is the plot. They are roommates who live together in their early thirty's and are just trying to enjoy their lives. I also like the diversity inside this group if characters including African American and Indian. This diversity in the show makes the humor more relatable from different perspectives.
As the show continues, the characters learn more about themselves, life & love. I have watched this show all the way through 7 seasons, and every season we see their characters grow. I personally have learned a lot of life lessons in this show. This specific group of individuals drinks a lot during social events, which adds to the comedy. My favorite is True American, which is a made-up drinking game they always play.
If you are looking for a show that's long enough to binge-watch for a little, but long enough and full of great stories It is also not too long and doesn't drag you along till the finale.
